  • The Body Project is a boutique appointment only studio in York, providing Pilates and reformer Pilates classes in a friendly and welcoming environment.

    With over 20 years of experience in the fitness and wellbeing industry you can expect expert instruction, individual attention and hands on correction with a strong focus on posture, control and form all while having fun and learning new details about your body.

  • The Body Project is a pay as you go studio there is no membership or joining fee.

  • The Body Project offers studio Pilates (1:1 and 2:1) or classes on the Pilates reformer (maximum 5 people).

    If you are new to Pilates or new to The Body Project it is advisable to book a 1:1 session or a foundation class. This will help you refine and practice the Pilates method while understanding the Pilates fundamentals.

    Once you have gained the basics you can choose to move to the intermediate class or alternatively continue with the one to one sessions.

    Studio Pilates starts at £40 for a 30 minute session

    Is there a cancellation policy?

    Yes, The Body Project requires 12 hours to cancel. If you cancel within 12 hours you will be charged for your session

    Is there a late arrival policy?

    It is encouraged that you turn up 5 minutes before your session. All reformer classes require you to be on time. This is due to access into the building and not disrupting the class. If you are late for your studio Pilates appointment the time will be deducted off the session

    How long do block sessions last?

    10 week block sessions last a maximum of 12 weeks from date of purchase
